METH DAMON IS STILL BEING CONSIDERED FOR A LEAD ROLE IN STAR WARS, BUT SO ARE THREE OTHER GUYS, INCLUDING A PERSON OF COLOR, WHICH MUCH REALLY IRK GEORGE LUCAS. IT DOES NOT REALLY MATTER WHO IS CAST, BECAUSE THEY WILL BE SLAUGHTERED BY DARTH R.O.T.O.R. IN AN INCIDENT UNRELATED TO THE MOVIE.
MARVEL’S 2016 BLOCKBUSTER AND BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN ARE CURRENTLY SCHEDULED TO OPEN ON THE SAME DAY, WHICH WILL BE DAUNTING FOR THOSE WHO ARE FANS OF BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN AND MARVEL’S AGENTS OF R.O.T.O.R.
PARAMOUNT IS GOING TO REMAKE THE ’80S GEM EXPLORERS: THE MOVIE THAT KILLED RIVER PHOENIX.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAYS: WILLIAM H. MACY, STAR OF JURASSIC PARK III, IS 64 TODAY!
[END MOVIE NEWS TRANSMISSION][TODAY’S TRAILER: THE LAST DRAGON]
Scheduling Batman?Superman for the same day as whateverthefuck Marvel Phase 3 movie is a brilliant move by Warner/DC. Marvel is destroying them in Hollywood in terms of quantity and quality. Unless its Avengers vs X-Men (which legally can’t happen) or Avengers 3, nothing Marvel puts into that date will challenge the two biggest superheroes of all time, and they’ll wind up moving dates. Then DC will brag that they scared off the competition.
If it’s Ant-Man, they have to move it. It’ll get squished against Batman. Unless Marvel has such brass balls to put their D-list against DC’s A+ list.
I know Fantastic Four is technically not a Marvel movie (Sony, or Fox…I forget which studio has those rights), so it wouldn’t be that. Disney is definitely exploring how to reacquire rights to Spidey, X-Men, FF and whatever the hell else they leased out in perpetuity. At least two cash cows are not filling the rat’s coffers, and never will at this rate. Wouldn’t surprise me to see something insane like a billion dollar buyout to reacquire Spider-Man one of these days.
The best is that pic of River Phoenix in Explorers with those big ass glasses. hahahahaha

Explorers didn’t kill River Phoenix. Being friends with Johnny Depp did.

It has to be Ant Man or Fantastic Four, and nobody gives much of a shit about either of those.

Good point about FF. Maybe it’s Doctor Strange, but no one cares about that either. Kevin Feige should tuck his dick away on this one.
One day we’ll get a 6-hour movie with Spider-Man, FF, X-Men, and Avengers battling Darth Vader.
