Three more days ’till Halloween, Silver Death Bed!:
Meryl Streep, Cameron Diaz and Milla Jovovich may lead of cast of The ExpendaBelles, an Expendables spinoff with slightly more estrogen and slightly less human growth hormone.
Here’s a new trailer for the Mr. Peabody and Sherman movie, about a time-traveling boy and his dog/dad who has nothing but disdain for him.
And on the subject of animated features, here’s the first poster for Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur and his naked boy companion.
According to the director of the truly awful Evil Dead remake, Sam Raimi is indeed directing Army of Darkness 2.
And finally, Lou Reed and Edna Krabapple have died. R.O.T.O.R. called me to deny responsibility.
[And now, another bedtime story! You may remember this one keeping you up at night if you were an HBO kid in the ’80s!]

The poster for The Good Dinosaur is a bit disappointing but I’m excited for Peabody and Sherman.

LOL – some stranger left that comment on one of my posts the other week – I checked with Brian to see if he thought it was spam and he said “no – it’s the voice of the people!!!”

That creeped me the hell out when I was a kid but I loved it and watched it like 20 times. HBO was so awesome back then.

I haven’t watched the last season or two of The Simpsons, but wasn’t Krabappel married to Flanders? I wonder how they’ll write her out.

I think it’s intended to be funny but ends up being kind of terrifying.

Love this short!!! I remember seeing it on PBS as a kid. It was supposed to be funny, but is quite scary, especially to a kid. It always disturbed me.
