Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2015)

New on home video today is Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising which tells the story of a a sorority house that’s situated next door to a crazy family of Disney enthusiasts who go to Disney World for vacation every god damn year even though there’s an entire planet out there and one day one of the sorority sisters snickers at the dumb Disney family decal on the back window of the family’s car so the family has had enough and hatches a plan to get rid of the sorority house so they tie a mouse ear-shaped balloon to the chimney of the sorority house and at first the sisters are puzzled but then the next day there’s another balloon and another the day after that and the sorority sisters try to pop the balloons but the rubber is far too strong and the strings cannot be cut no matter what so they’re helpless and can only watch as more and more balloons are added and after several weeks the house starts to rise off the foundation and the sorority sisters are scared and beg the family to stop tying balloons to their house but their pleas do no good and they call the police but there’s no law on the books that says tying balloons to a chimney is a crime and as more balloons are added the house rises higher and higher off the foundation and all the power and water goes out and eventually the house is only being held down by a few pipes and the sorority sisters still can do nothing and they can’t leave the house because they have rush coming up and they’re planning to host a bitchin’ rush party at the house for new recruits so they can’t just leave plus they don’t want to lose their security deposit so the night of the party all the new pledges come to the house but their combined weight doesn’t help hold the house down and the family ties on the final balloon just as the party is really kicking into high gear and the house floats away while the family cackles and the sorority sisters and pledges are screaming and even their piercing screams don’t pop the balloons and they float higher and higher until the house is completely out of sight and no one knows what happened to them but it’s assumed that the house went into space and they all probably died pretty quickly.
