1) When Han is looking at the Millennium Falcon, perhaps for the last time, Leia places her hand on Han’s shoulder. Look closely at Leia’s fingernails. Her pinky nail is longer than the rest. This is attributed to Carrie Fisher’s notorious drug problems in the 1980s. Thus, her “cocaine nail.” The actress later overcame her drug addiction.
2) Tasked with designing the Ewoks, make-up artist Stuart Freeborn came up with hundreds of different ideas, all of which were rejected by George Lucas, sometimes without even a passing glance. Driven to madness, Freeborn enlisted the aid of a dark magick djinn to enter Lucas’s mind to find out his darkest fears so he could incorporate them into the Ewok design to try to scare Lucas to death so the nightmares would end. but Freeborn couldn’t have imagined the horrors contained inside the dark recesses of Lucas’s subconscious. No one knows for sure what Freeborn saw, but he’s been in what can best be described as a “screaming coma” ever since. As for the Ewoks, it was decided to go simple and put hoods on teddy bears, but when Lucas first saw them they terrified him so badly his hair turned chalk white, and he’s never directed or even seen a Star Wars movie since.
