Today’s Headlines presented by Death Bed! 10-25-2013

Enfold yourselves in Death Bed’s crushed velvet comforter and let’s get to some movie news before you’re dissolved:

Michael Arndt aren’t writing the Star Wars Episode VII script anymore as J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have taken over. Before you get your sheets in a bunch, remember that Kasdan wrote The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Dreamcatcher.

In the new trailer for Captain America: Edgar Winter Soldier, Cap ditches the Red, White and Blue for Commie Silver!

Clive “Bob” Barker is writing the screenplay to the Hellraiser remake, with the original Pinhead returning as the new Pinhead but much, much older.

Apparently there are two different scripts for the Independence Day sequel: one with Will Smith’s character and one without. But with director Roland Emmerich in charge, we can rest assured that they’ll both suck an astronomical dick.

[And now, another bedtime workplace story! Watch with the lights OFF, because you forgot to pay your electric bill again, Greg!]

  1. Can’t be a good sign if the writer is let go from the film already. What did he do to get canned? Did he write a part for Jar Jar or something?

Got something to say?
