This isn’t a movie misconception but a “real life” misconception that was put RIGHT by a movie. And to this day, I believe everything I see in movies. Ask my hubby – ALL my knowledge comes from movies.
When I was a kid, I thought that all dogs were boys & all cats were girls. If a dog & cat liked each other and decided they wanted kids, they’d get married (because that’s how you have babies!) and mommy cat would have some adorable baby boy puppies and baby girl kitties. Then I saw 101 Dalmatians. Thank you once again, Disney, for helping to raise me! 😉
Do you know better now???

Thanks for letting me take part in this. I’ve always wanted everyone to know I’m an idiot. 🙂 I love that picture! Lol! I do still think dogs & cats should get married. The weddings would be adorable!

Until the dog attacked the cat. Then it would be catty. 🙂

You’re very welcome. But we try to keep it not so political on this site. The dog-cat marriage thing is a huge powderkeg and I don’t want our comments section to devolve into a raging back-and-forth debate.

Glad you figured it out before you met Mr. Mutant!.
Great story, nothing to be ashamed of.
Since all your knowledge comes from movies, what movie has dogs and cats marry in it? 🙂

Well… I knew dogs & cats had babies somehow so, naturally, that meant they got married. Right? : )
Figured what out??
