Why These Scenes are Great: Brad and I will have our review of the latest Godzilla up as soon as we’re done debating the finer points of giant monster genitalia on email. In the meantime, here are a few select scenes from Godzilla’s past, for anyone who has seen the new Godzilla picture and though it was slow and/or dumb. As you can see, he doesn’t have the most storied history. Enjoy!

Would I be alone in thinking that the heart beating as he lay there dying in the Emmerich movie was actually a nice little touch? The movie was complete garbage but there were some actually cool moments. The fact that he is killed is lame but this part I thought was actually kinda neat

We went to the movies this weekend and chose Neighbors over Godzilla. I hope it was the right choice!
