The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
1) The pattern on the butterfly’s back in the movie posters is not the natural pattern of the Death’s-Head Hawk Moth. It is, in fact, Salvador Dalí’s “In Voluptas Mors,” a picture of seven naked women made to look like a human skull.
2) Jamie Lee Curtis was initially cast as Clarice Starling and completed several weeks of filming. Anthony Hopkins suggested that they bond off the set to more properly convey the growing relationship between Hannibal Lecter and Clarice and really delve deeply into their roles, so he invited over to his house for dinner. There, with Curtis’s permission, Hopkins sliced off her hermaphroditic penis and cooked it. The two enjoyed their meal, but Curtis lost more blood than expected and had to be rushed to the emergency room. The wound where her hermaphroditic penis used to be got infected, and she had to be hospitalized for several months. Not willing to wait, director Jonathan Demme recast the Clarice role with Jodie Foster. Curtis and Hopkins remain friends to this day, and still get together once a week to eat penises bought off the black market.

This is probably the best entry for this feature yet. It is both wildly entertaining and informative all at once. I’m seriously really floored by the Dali thing. That’s so cool. But don’t get me wrong, I’m equally floored by the tremendous friendship that Curtis and Hopkins now share. It’s so hard to find someone you really click with to get together with over a nice home cooked penis.

Yeah I’d have to agree with Smash. . .this is the funniest and defnitely one of the more informative TorF trivia bits I’m come across on here. I’m actually more inclined to believe B is true more than A.
