- Godzilla actually looks and sounds like Godzilla, which is a good thing.
- This looks pretty awesome! That doesn’t necessarily mean it will be, but for now I’m relieved and hopeful.

I’ve definitely been skeptical because I really disliked Monsters but I’m getting my hopes up for this. And Bryan Cranston is in it, so it can’t be bad!

Mathew Broderick, eat your heart out! This looks sick, and I haven’t been excited by a movie based on the trailer since Ghostbusters II. I hope they treat it like a horror rather than an action flick though.

It seems like they’re going for disaster-thriller, which is great. Much better than shitball-actionshit like 1998.

Definitely a good trailer, but I remain skeptical of the film. Some movies are just hard to remake.

Godzilla has a pretty easily formula though. You really have to go out of your way to screw it up. But Roland Emmerich did it.

I had to do a double take with the music at the beginning. It seemed more like they were falling onto a monolith and going through the Stargate rather than stopping Godzilla.
