I’m Gonna Git You Sucka (1988)

Why I Love This Scene: I’m Gonna Git You Sucka is a pretty hit-or-miss comedy spoof, which you may find hard to believe since it involves the Wayans brothers. Actually, it’s probably the best movie any of them were ever involved with, by far. While it has a few decent bits, Black Dynamite spoofed the genre a blaxjillion times better. But one scene that never fails to tickle my funny ribs is when a young, snaggle-toothed Chris Rock tries to order a filling meal from Truck Turner and Slaughter. It has nothing to do with anything else in the movie and is basically an In Living Color sketch, but it makes me laugh and makes me hungry. It’s really just Chris Rock’s delivery that does it. For some reason Isaac Hayes seems like he’s having a stroke while delivering some of his lines.
