Synopsis:  In Canada, roller disco is on its way out, and arcade games are on their way in if the Canadian mob has anything to say about it! But one roller skating disco Canadian finds the strength to stand up to them and find love through the power of Canadian roller disco!

Nudity: No nudity but I don’t think anyone is wearing a bra in this.

Overall: “AAGGHH, CANADIAN???!!!,” you scream? Yeah, I know, but hear me out. This movie is actually hysterical. It’s an awesome mix of satire and sketch comedy stitched together with fine Canadian wool. I had heard that this was pretty funny and had been meaning to check it out on Netflix Instant for months and was prepared to be let down, but both Brad and I (with a few beers down our gullets, mind you) found ourselves laughing throughout the whole thing. You should definitely give it a shot if you like absurd satire. It’s kind of like Wet Hot American Summer on Canadian roller skates, but even if you don’t like that movie you should still give Roller Town a chance. It’s a little more structured and consistently funny. And thankfully, it doesn’t feel overly Canadian, so you can watch it without vomiting.
