Babe (1995)
1) James Cromwell, a longtime vegetarian, decided to become a vegan after starring in the movie.
2) Albert Finney was originally cast as Farmer Hoggett, but left the film after finding that Babe and the rest of the animals had speaking parts, which he believed to be the result of dark voodoo. The technique actually used to make the animals talk was an ancient form of necromancy, in which the animals were killed then brought back to life having gained the power of speech at the cost of their souls.
