Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005)
The Scene: When Anakin and Obi-Wan are fighting and talking about good and evil on the lava river (the sheer heat of which would have cooked them alive) and Anakin screeches, “From my point of view the Jedi are evil!”
Why I Hate This Scene: It is the absolute worst line of dialogue ever written and acted in cinematic history and makes me wince when I hear him say it. I’ve never seen such a hamfisted way to explain the actions of a character whose actions do not need further explanation. Unborn fetuses know that Darth Vader doesn’t trust the Jedi. We really didn’t need a pause in the movie’s biggest action scene to ram this down our throats one more time. And Hayden Christensen is just horrific. With as many awful parts as there are in the prequel trilogy, this is definitely the worst one, in my opinion. Thankfully, there’s really no need to ever watch any Star Wars prequel picture again.
Hard Ticket to Home Video 
There are no reasons to watch any of the prequels again ever. I almost wish I hadn’t seen them the first time around. What a bunch of malarky.

I’ve always said this is the lightest dark movie I have ever seen. What I mean by that is that this is some serious dark subject matter in Sith, but they treat it in such a light way. Dialogue like you’ve mentioned above doesn’t help.

True. The slaughter of children element was very dark but it’s played as part of a montage… that ends with Anakin’s eyes turning yellow and red for absolutely zero reason…
