7 Things You NEVER Noticed In Famous Movies!

There was an article posted on Buzzfeed a few weeks ago about a MIND-BLOWING Easter egg cleverly hidden in Back to the Future, that the Twin Pines Mall became the Lone Pine Mall after Marty ran over one of Old Man Peabody’s precious pine pairings:

There’s no way anyone noticed that, right? I mean, aside from the brightly lit sign that was right in the middle of the screen for a few seconds? AMAZING! In fact, it was so amazing that The Chive ran the exact same article using the exact same images and captions (how they get away with that is the true mind-blowing thing). So it got me thinking, what other MIND-BLOWINGLY SHOCKING things have you never noticed in your favorite films? WARNING: The following revelations may literally BLOW YOUR MIND OUT OF YOUR SKULL!

1) Star Wars

In Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the planet Tatooine where Luke Skywalker lives is the same planet Tatooine where Obi-Wan Kenobi drops off baby Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!

2) Lethal Weapon

Throughout the movie, Mel Gibson’s character, Riggs, is white, while Danny Glover’s character, Murtaugh, is black!

3) Raiders of the Lost Ark

When Indy and Sallah head down into the Well of Souls, look closely at the gold box they lift out of its enclosure. This is the ark mentioned in the title.

4) Apocalypse Now

During the film, the character Chef is a loudmouth who can’t seem to stop talking. Toward the end of the movie, he suddenly goes completely silent. If you look carefully, it seems that he’s been decapitated.

5) Seven Samurai

Sharp-eyed mathematicians may notice that when all the samurai are standing together, there are indeed seven of these samurai.

6) Toy Story 3

The toys Woody and Buzz Lightyear depicted in this movie are actually the same Woody and Buzz Lightyear toys from Toy Story and Toy Story 2!

7) Fantasia

If you peer closely at the wizard character, you may spot a pair of hidden Mickey ears. This was done in homage to Walt Disney, who financed the film.
