Why He Was Great: As R.O.T.O.R. has no doubt told you, Philip Seymour Hoffman died this weekend from a heroin overdose, leaving behind three children in what was a serious dick move. But that doesn’t take away from his accomplishments on the screen. Ok, maybe it does a little. The fact remains, he was one of the finest actors we had, and always brought his A game to whatever role he played. It’s a damn shame that we won’t get anything else out of him, but at least we have this:
